Schedule an Appointment
Appointments
Call our main office number 918-728-2000 to book an appointment. You may also call our main number 918-728-2000 and choose the option to leave a message with the nurse for your doctor. Our nurses also perform many of the other duties within our daily practice. So, please be patient and they will return your calls as quickly as possible.
Due to the difficulty in diagnosing and treating illnesses over the phone, we often will require your child to be seen in the office before we will prescribe medications that your child is not currently taking. Please understand that this is in the best interest of your child’s health by letting us make an accurate diagnosis before starting treatment.
If you have a specific question about your child, you may find the answer in our "Is Your Child Sick" section. Please locate your child's condition in that section for further advice.
Walk-Ins
Patients who walk in with a non-emergency condition will be fit into the existing schedule as best as possible, or they will be asked to return later in the day when the schedule allows.
Well Child Visit
Our providers recommend that you call our office 2 week(s) in advance so you may choose the date that best fits your needs.
We like to perform well child checks every year after the age of 5 years to continue to monitor growth and development.
Usually most immunizations are completed by this time except for a Tetanus booster which is usually done at the 11 year old check up. Then we also offer Menactra, a meningitis vaccine. We also offer Gardasil (vaccine to prevent HPV which can cause cervical cancer) to both males and females 11 years of age and older.
Optional Vaccinations:
- Flu Vaccine - We recommend that all eligible children (those over 6 months of age) receive the flu vaccine. We offer two types of flu vaccine:
- Injectable Flu Vaccine: For children any age over 6 months.
- Intranasal (nasal spray) FluMist Vaccine: For people 2-50 years of age without risk factors for problems (for example asthma, etc.)
Medical Refills
We prefer that you use the following options in order:
- For all Medication refills (controlled or not-controlled): Contact the pharmacy where you previously filled your child’s prescription and request a refill. They will send us a fax or electronic request, if there are no problems with the request, we will return it to them in a timely manner. OR you may use our Patient Portal for medication refills. We should be able to send all medication refills electronically to the pharmacy of your choice. If you cannot use the patient portal, you may call the office to request a refill.
- Using a Different Pharmacy: Use the Patient Portal to request a different pharmacy or you may call the office.
